Jimmy Wales "Wikipedia Co-Founder",   spoke at the “Youth Marketer Convergence Conference” (YMC 2.0) held in Lagos. The conference which took place at the Grand Ball Room, Eko Hotels, Victoria Island, Lagos and Indoor Sports Hall, Rowe Park, Yaba on 27th and 28th March 2012 and was organized by Lagos based youth marketing and advertising consultancy, F.B. Initiatives & Innovations Limited.
Other speakers who also spoke at the four plenary sessions include Lanre Aina – Google Nigeria, Mike Saunders – Digitlab South Africa, Lola Talabi-Oni – Brent Consulting, Japheth Omojuwa – Omojuwa.com, Chiekezi Dozie – Persnickety, Bisi Awoyomi – L.E.A.R.N, Enyioma Anaba – Interswitch and Tolu Ogunlesi – British Council.
The sessions was chaired by marketing gurus Yinka Akande, DG, Manufacturers Association of Nigeria , Iquo Ukoh ED Nestle, Dola Bambgoye of MTN, and Youth Marketing specialist Temi de Medeiros of Youth Dynamix Nigeria.
