Okey Uzoeshi Nominated As AMAA 2012 Best Actor In A Supporting Role


  

 

With dazzling performances in Nollywood movies such as: Fatal Imagination, Rivals, Cash Money, Sweet Tomorrow, Kidnap, Two Brides and a Baby among others, Okey Uzoeshi, the emerging Nollywood hunk is fast carving a niche for himself.
In fact, it’s just a matter of time before Uzoeshi joins the league of A- list stars.
His Nollywood odyssey started in 2006, when he was selected as one of the housemates in the second season of AMBO, since then Uzoeshi has featured in some movies with top producers and directors like Emem Isong, Lancelot Imasuen, Desmond Elliot, Aquila Njamah, Teco Benson and Charles Novia.
He’s currently working on two projects; Alan Poza, a Charles Novia production, which will have him star alongside Oc Ukeje, Beverly Naya, Lala Akindoju and Norbert Young. The other is, Blood In The Lagoon, a Teco Benson film in which he stars alongside Omotola Jalade Ekeinde and Ufuoma Ejenobor.
Born in Lagos, Nigeria, on April 28, 1983, the talented thespian is blessed with raw acting talents and a warm personality. This new kid on the block takes pride in studying every character he has toportray, thus making him a director’s delight any day.
Uzoeshi is also a model.

 He has featured in several fashion shows for top Nigerian designers as well as high-end TV commercials.
Currently, he’s a nominee for this year’s AMAA Best Actor in a Supporting Role, courtesy of the hit movie- Two Brides and a Baby. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Movie buffs should watch out for Uzoeshi as he continues to climb the ladder of success in tinsel town.
