Nkiru Sylvanus set at last to discover new talents

Famous actress and the Face of Hope, a humanitarian project of the Imo State Government, Nkiru Sylvanus, has begun a search for some of Nigeria’s talented youngsters in different fields of endeavour.
Tagged: I’ve Got Talent Show; the actress expressed her desire to improve the quality of lives of some talented Nigerians who are set to distinguish themselves in different areas of calling as the contest progresses.
Speaking on her reasons for searching for talents in all areas, she said opportunities must be given to as many people in different areas as possible.

“I have noticed that most shows ignore other talents and these are talents that if given the opportunity can help develop the country. So the idea is to fully explore almost every sphere of life and empower as many people as we can. The idea is to allow everybody who feels they have something extra ordinary to come and showcase them on the show. Talent is not limited to dancing, singing and acting alone. My aim is to let the public decide which talent rule over others.”
The show was inspired by the actress’ love for humanity and extreme need to give back to the society that has done so much for her.
“So when the platform came in the form of Face of Hope, I saw the need to put my dream into action and go after many young Nigerians out there striving to get a voice.
The show is currently running on NTA and will produce one winner who will go home with a whopping sum of N7m and four consolation winners who will each smile away with N2m, N1m, N700, 000 and N250, 000 respectively.
“Our aim is not just to give them the money and release them. Our work begins after the TV show where we monitor these winners and help them improve on their art. It is not just enough to give them money. Nigerians will be inundated with their progress so that other young talented Nigerians wishing to participate on the show will also be encouraged to come on board in the future,” Miss Sylvanus added.
