Nicki Minaj has apparently revealed that she turned down an
offer to be a judge on X Factor USA.
The 29-year-old Trinidadian singer said she was approached for the role, but
chose not to sign on.
She told ITV's The Hot Desk that TV mogul Simon Cowell had contacted her
about joining the US version of The X Factor, saying: "Yes. Well, I don't
think I can talk about that."
Nicki, who is promoting her new album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, added:
"I think we both decided together that it wouldn't work out. I think it
was the best decision."
Meanwhile, the star went for a pink look, complete with pink Barbie-printed
tutu with matching pink hat and boots, at a London signing.
Hundreds of fans gathered at Whiteleys shopping centre to catch a glimpse of
the singer, with competition winners receiving a signed CD from the star.
Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, which features collaborations with Lil Wayne,
Nas, Drake and Chris Brown, is the follow up to her hugely acclaimed platinum
selling debut, Pink Friday.
