Google pays $1.25 million to bring Nelson Mandela’s archives online

                                                                                                                                                                                   





After giving a $1.25 million grant to the Nelson Mandela Center of Memory last year to in their words, ” to help preserve and digitize thousands of archival documents,” Google recently announced the launch of the archive online featuring the life and legacy of the South African leader. The archives which includes one of the earliest known pictures of Madiba and never been seen before drafts of his manuscripts for his autobiography, Long Walk to Freedom promises to be a wealth of information to Mandela lovers the world over.
