Ray J and Late Whitney Houston
Whitney Houston’s on-off lover Ray J has hit back at accusations that he fuelled her cocaine use in the days leading up to her death and claims he had “no knowledge” that the singer was using again.
The toxicology report released this week states that cocaine was in the 48 year-old’s system when she died on February 11th in her hotel room in Los Angeles.
Also, claims were made by Bobby Brown’s sister Leolah Brown, Whitney’s ex-sister-in-law, on Thursday night that Ray J was to blame for the star’s demise and death.
The 31 year-old rapper hit back at the accusation with a spokesperson: “The singer had NO KNOWLEDGE that Whitney was using again.”
The family also claimed that they did not know that the ‘I Will Always Love You’ star was using cocaine.
Her 79 year-old mother Cissy Houston was said to be shocked that her daughter was using cocaine according to reuters report and believes the relapse was due to anxiety over her comeback.
The night of her death she was meant to be performing at her mentor Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy Award party and Cissy believes that as “Whitney got closer and closer to the Grammys she fell prey to the drug.”
The police are said to want to question the alleged dealer who removed all traces of the cocaine from Whitney’s hotel room before they arrived on the scene following her death.
The Houston family have blamed this person for the star’s death.
